Phoenix Volume 1 Issue 6

One thing that I sometimes comment on when I network, is
when somebody hands me their business card, but because they've
had it laminated or printed on both sides, I can't write my
notes on the reverse. As a result, I don't know why I should
get back in touch with them unless I note the details in a book
instead. It's far easier to just flip somebodies card when I
pick up the phone to read my Aide Memoir and talk with
them.
And why oh why do people hand cards out like it's going out
of fashion? I went to a networking event a few weeks ago (no,
not Martin's London Lunch), and some guy was handing his card
to everybody. He didn't even talk with most people, so they
have no real idea what his business is about, nor why they
should make contact with him. What a waste of money and
time.
People prefer to do business with people they know and
trust. It would have been far more effective to spend his time
talking with a dozen people. Even if they're not interested in
what's on offer, they might know somebody who is interested,
and pass your card onto them. Passing cards by proxy does work,
and works very well.
I don't carry business cards now days as people very rarely
follow up. I tend to take other peoples cards instead, and I
follow up with them, usually within a day or two.
Phew, now I've got that rant off my chest :oD

I recently purchased a PLR ebook, with the intention of
bundling it with my 90 Second Business Website System when it
goes main stream, and I charge what should be the full market
value for it. Probably in the region of $97.
The ebook is about setting yourself up as a marketing
consultant to offline businesses. It covers lots of areas,
including outsourcing the work AFTER you've received payment
from your clients. There are very good reasons why you need
payment up front, not least because it shows that the business
you're working with is committed to the project.
I was going to offer the ebook to you at a huge discount
today, but upon reading, it's clear that I need to make
revisions to bring it up to the standard I expect before I pass
onto people who I consider to be my friends. Yes I mean YOU!
I've had such a lot of support this year, and especially in the
past couple of months, that I feel like I'm writing this
newsletter like I write letters to one of my family members, or
a close friend that I've not seen for a while. And that
seriously motivates me to make sure that I continue to do
everything I can to the same high standards. I'll have the
ebook ready for later this week, so watch out for my next
newsletter.

As many of you know, I develop technology using my own
highly customised version of ArtiFact at its core. One product
was called Google Friendly Websites, or GFW for short, which
has now been put on the back burner for a little while, due to
time constraints.
The system allowed me to build static HTML websites with
unique articles. Buyers of these sites could then run a simple
customisation script that inserts their own Clickbank ID.
The idea was to help people sell Clickbank products, by
overcoming their main problems; product and keyword research,
unique review articles, complete review websites. I often
uncovered several hundred keywords, with a good 30% being
undeserved, with no or very little competition. I limited the
sites to about 30 to 40 pages or so for the best keywords. I
will be renaming this system later on to keep the lawyers of
Google happy.
Unfortunately, apart from my own personal use, this
technology is now collecting cyber dust, but a thought occurred
to me. What if I could turn that concept on its head? Instead
of selling sites to CB affiliates, I worked with product owners
instead? They could provide their affiliates with a fully built
website, and a simple script to help them customise it. This
service could be added to the products' affiliates resource
centre for a small investment.
Do you own a product in Clickbank that my GFW technology
could help with sales? Get back to me if you do to see if it's
a good fit.

I had a very good response to my request for beta testers
for my Auto Blog Content Factory. In fact, I had twice as many
testers than I needed. As I don't like to disappoint, as long
as you meet my basic criteria, you'll be selected. I don't have
time to train people right now on how to setup Blogger blogs or
create filters in Gmail. I'll be getting back to people on
Friday, but if you're interested, and haven't got back to me,
you have a day and a bit to reply to this message with 'ABCF
Tester' (no quotes) as part of the subject line.
I was stupid last time. I just requested people put ABCF in
the subject line, but it was already part of MY subject line
when the email was sent. As a result, when people wanted to
reply about other parts of my newsletter, my filter picked
those up too! Live and learn!
.:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:..:*~*:._.:*~*:._.:*~*:.
Thank you to everybody who took advantage of my ArtiFact
discount. The price has now been reduced to a permanent $67 for
Phoenix readers.

Coming soon... My system (SLOBS) that earned one user over
$50,000. I'll be upgrading to version two within next two
months.
Until next time,
Glenn
